8.2 Removing a PCIe Card

Note – If a new PCIe card is to be installed in an empty disk slot, remove the PCIe

slot cover first.

1. Remove the one screw securing the PCIe card.

2. Pull a PCIe card straight up from the slot, and then place it on a conductive

mat.
